The Kid
The kid just stood there in front of the booth that sells neckties and cufflinks. It was a Saturday afternoon, and the mall was filled with people- but he just stood there- not minding occasional bumps from passersby. Standing there, he looked like a monument. Standing there, he looked like a tiny god. His presence however, made some of the shoppers uncomfortable. Everybody knows that the kid is up to no good. Then, the unimaginable happened. He took out a cigarette and lit it. A security guard came, dragged him out and said, “We’re doing this because We love you”.
